The following monitoring activities have been funded by the South Bay Salt Pond Restoration Project. Monitoring and research results will be made available through this website in keeping with contract requirements.

Description We used oceanographic instruments to measure flows and transport of salt and sediment in Coyote Creek, and we studied how these were affected by the salt pond breaches.
Location Coyote Creek, from Pond A21 on the east, to the Bay on the west. Also, the western-most breach in Pond A21.
